The problem with the BCS is that teams like Boise State, Texas Christian, and mid-majors who have great seasons, they don't matter. But a playoff won't help that. They need to find a way that will make EVERYONE involved. Remember Utah's season years ago??? That meant nothing to the country. But if they had a playoff, they'd play USC the first round, and get anhialated.
If the case of the playoff would come about, how many teams would you have? Because Football is so dangerous of a sport that they only play one game a week, the playoffs would take 4 MORE WEEKS!
The NCAA needs to find a way that can give the mid-majors a shot at the championship. In Basketball, Baseball, and every other sport, it is open season, and no one is ruled out. But we can already rule out Temple, Fresno State, Utah, or any other mid-major team before the season even starts. So how do we make it fair?
