Vacation travel and summer schools

Travel during the vacation periods with fellow Lancaster students to destinations around the world, or take part in a summer school run by one of our global academic partners. Immerse yourself in the colourful nature of cultural exchange, explore a new country and gain perspective on global issues.

Travel funding

We believe that cost should not be a barrier to global experiences. That’s why we offer a number of different grants to support students to travel, whether it’s for a field course to Europe or a year in Australia. We are also proud to announce that Lancaster University has successfully been granted the Turing Scheme funding for 2023/2024.

Each year Lancaster University hosts an online conference bringing together undergraduate students from around the Lancaster Partnership to showcase and celebrate research they have conducted – whether as part of a dissertation, internship, placement, or coursework.
