Longest Run of Title Game Victories: 6 Wins
Texas A&M has to be one of the best places to watch a football game. Very few places speak 'tradition' like an Aggie home game. The twelfth man, kissing your girl when the team scores... College football doesn't get much better than that.
The Aggies captured their first title on a pretty interesting day. December 6, 1941. A day before Pearl Harbor was attacked. Unfortunately, they were not able to hang on for long, losing it their next title game, the 1942 Sugar Bowl. They had some other opportunities over the years, before finally getting the title with a win over Nebraska in 1998 and holding on for another 5 games before losing it to Texas of all schools.
